Needle Features

Available Needle Shape, Size and Suture Materials

We offer reverse cutting suture needles in 3/8 circle which are the most commonly used needle in periodontal, oral maxillofacial and implant surgery. These suture needles features two opposing cutting edges, with a third cutting edge on the outer curvature of the needle which reduces the danger of a "cut-out" (the suture material tearing through the tissues being sutured). Reverse cutting needles in 3/8 circle are utilized for tough, difficult-to-penetrate tissues where the operative site is confined. All our sutures are 18 inches (45cm) long and are available in 3 popular sizes (3-0, 4-0, and 5-0).

Each box contains 12 individually sterilized foil packs of suture and one instruction sheet. The suture is sterilized with Ethylene Oxide (EO) gas and has a shelf life of 3 years from the manufacturing date.
